I will say that I haven't used this app to its fullest potential, but I love the 3d feature for seeing terrain in a map view. better priced than on x. this app goes all the way back to when it was scoutlook. using for years. i got the pro on sale for $20.00 for the whole year. give it a try. property lines make it nice to know as well. i had one glitch and they reached out and it was fixed in no time. good team of people at huntstand.

The new update sucks. I paid for the yearly subscription, and now they want me to pay $70 for the upgrade. I'm unable to view saved offline areas, unable to view saved points (stands, pinch points, and other areas of interest), and I'm unable to see property owner info. Unless it's fixed, I'll be going with the competitor app.

What a waste! It's TikTok for needy hunters. Does nothing but take money for upgrade that don't work. Keep getting "UPGRADE NOW" even after you PAY for upgrade. Try open a map, it shuts down. Even on WiFi! I knew I should not of reinstalled this waste of time after all the issues from last time but I did to get the wind report (that's a waste of time, can't open a map). If all you care about is ads and bragging this app is for you.

This is the worst app update I've ever experienced. Everything used to be so simple. The maps looked so clean. Now the icons are way too large and cartoon looking. I used to be able to do so much with one or two clicks that I'm now digging through menus for. Bring back the old huntstand. There was a reason I chose this over Onx, but it's now so bad that I'm going back to Onx. Not only is the new interface awful, but it changed the color of most of my trails and waypoints and deleted map outlines

This was my favorite hunting app for a long time, property info was clear, property lines were easy to save and find again, and the app was a great tool for hunting and making sure you stayed on the right land and went to the right spots...all the way up until the latest update... Everything I had saved on my PAID app was deleted, and when I went to resave it, I can no longer get it to work. I have to dig to find my information now, and the app has become very close to ineffective altogether.

The new update kind of ruined the app. ESPECIALLY HOW THEY CHANGED THE COORDINATE SEARCH FUNCTION!!!! you enter the coordinates separately which makes it so you can't paste coordinates into The search field. this is a huge inconvenience, I literally have to paste coordinates into a text field somewhere else to separate the x and y. I also miss the hunting lands map, I get turning it into a layer but I really loved using it as a topo. if it ain't broke don't fix it, it looks pretty now I guess.

I have been a dedicated user since the launch and beta phases, and I find the current interface quite complicated and challenging to navigate. Specifically, I am having difficulty locating the hourly wind feature, which I frequently relied upon. Given my prior positive experience, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to download older version.

New update is not working. I've lost property lines that I had prior. Looks different to every user that has access to hunt area. Not clear how to refresh the hunt area and sync to user group. Also the timing of this roll out was not well thought out. Release in early summer and work the bugs out prior to hunting season. Hopefully updates are on the way or you will be losing customers swiftly. Been with huntstand for years, but might be time for a switch.

With new update the peak game movement times are way off. How am I supposed to read it right to left or left to right? On distance measurements if you try to use it multiple times its measurements are off unless you get completely out of it and start over each time you want to calculate distance. App is very slow to load and hard to navigate now. Go back to old version it was way better.

I used the app for property lines and owner names. It was good for that. But...Don't upgrade to version 8.0.x of the HuntStand app if you don't have auto-renew turned on for your subscription. These people will lose your subscription and lock you out. My subscription was there with version 7.6.3, but after the update nothing. They've stolen my money. Beware of the update! Edit...I did work with Support for 3 weeks. He told me he couldn't help...

Have used for years and had no problems, now it updated and my map is different, everything is the same color (red), finally got my paths and trails back to the color they were, after numerous tries, doesn't seem to accept changes, takes numerous tries, still haven't been able to get my food plots back to green color, thanks for the update, haha, well I guess they straightened it out, I got my food plots green again and my trail colors back, thanks for corrections huntstand

I've been using Huntstand for the passed few years and really enjoy many of it's features. With the update earlier this year the solunar function was no longer useful so I emailed customer service. They wrote back to me and let me know they were working on a fix and I figured that was that. This evening I received another email not only letting me know that the fix was available but sending me the link to the update as well. In this day and age you rarely find customer service like this anymore.

Maps are outdated. Images of my property are from ten years ago. Only difference with pro is the property lines and owners map. The free app version is all you need. Just a waste of money. I thought with the updated app maybe it would be better but it just the same app it's been for years .

New update Sept 2024 paid version needs improvement and bug fixes. Why release buggy revamp Durring hunting season? What a mess. App now slow and freezes up, to swipe screen it tries to add marker, too many options to buy stuff it serves paid version thses should be optional. * I use alot of markers and they now are too large and makes for mess not able to see area. Please make marker size adjustable This is important. Less bloat might make to work properly Come on support team Get these fixed

Old version was better. You cannot copy and paste GPS coordinates out of Google maps anymore, a simple ask in 2024. Edit: the more I play around with it the more disappointing it is. I've lowered my review. The old version of the app was at least useful. Do not spend money on this. You can't even get full property owner names anymore.

This was the best hunting app available. It was so easy to use and navigate. Now it just sucks. It's horrible! Please go back to the old huntstand. This thing is absolutely worthless with this new update. **update** 11-26-24 I keep updating the app and it gets worse and worse. This app was the easiest app to navigate and now it still is just horrible! Go back to the previous version! It worked so well! Lesson to be learned is don't fix what ain't broke!!!!

Extremely hard to navigate through. Iv had it for 2 years now and learned onxhunt is so much easier. They decided to change the entire lay out during bow season. Found myself stuck in the woods trying to find out how to learn the app again to get to my hunting location.

Huntstand could be my favorite hunting app if it were not for one lacking feature..... The lack of ability to zoom in when using the Topographic Quad map. I primarily hunt mountainous terrain and the ability to see and mark topographical features is critical to my success. Currently, I use GAIA as my main hunting app and if it were not for the Property Info mapping provided by Huntstand, GAIA would be my only mapping source. I can see in my future dropping Huntstand and going with GAIA Premium

This app is terrible after the latest update. It takes a long time to load the map and when it does load you may or may not have your markers and saved property lines. Also, when you try to drop a marker half the time it will not save. If it is not fixed when it is time to renew I will cancel my subscription.

I used this app for several years until the recent upgrade. I use this app across multiple Android and Apple devices. The Android devices seem okay, but the Apple devices can no longer manually sync. This was supposed to be an upgrade and sync automatically. Since this feature fails to work, I have lost way points and map boundaries on the Apple device. Customer service has contacted me multiple times to say log out/in, delete and reinstall app. This is inconvenient and still does not work. 👎
