Door Kickers

Door Kickers

The unforgiving, award-winning SWAT tactics and strategy game. ***RockPaperShotgun’s 'Bestest Best Tactics game' award*** ***“Door Kickers is a game about cops kicking down doors, and these doors are a lot of fun to kick down. It is also very hard, and I love it for that.” *** 84/100 – PC Gamer ***”It evokes lot of the more demanding thrills that modern games have left behind, the grit and the hard won satisfaction of overcoming intimidating challenges, or the experimental fun of spending hours tinkering with all the different ways you can play through a big, open-ended level. I had a blast inching my way through pretty much all of the harder stages in this game and I also think you might have a blast with it too.” *** Super Bunnyhop ***“It’s a thing of beauty and manages to capture the planning and satisfying execution of more complex strategy games, as well as the gung-ho and the popping-off of growly man in military shooters. (...) It’s probably the best man-shootery game I’ve played in years.”*** Indie Statik Door Kickers mixes old school, no-quarter action/strategy with modern ergonomic interfaces and puts you in command of a SWAT team during a tactical intervention. Analyze the situation, plan team routes, choose equipment and breach points, and coordinate multiple troopers to reach the hostage room before the bad guys get to press that trigger. Includes a new campaign, as well as full cross-platform saves compatibility and an all-new interface designed specifically for touch based platforms. It may sound daunting, and like real world CQB combat, it sure is. But most levels can be completed in minutes and on the fly improvisation works. Achieving the perfect planning, getting the mission done with no false steps and losing no people, that’s a skill harder to master. Quick Points: § 80 single missions, 6 campaigns and unlimited gameplay via mission generator § Over 65 weapons and gear items to use and overcome the enemy. § Top Down perspective for optimal strategic analysis § Real Time With Free Pause § No turns, no hexes, no action points or awkward interfaces § Realistic but action packed § Non-linear levels, freeform strategy Website https://www.inthekillhouse.com Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/KillHouseGames Twitter - @inthekillhouse

Best game of this kind on mobile, although the controls don't work as well as they should. Generally it's the multi-layered levels that become the most problematic. That & even though you can change the path colors for different operatives, making the wrong touch somewhere can erase entire plans. Biggest problem though is this came out on mobile in late 2015. Why is the sequel not out on mobile yet? It's been out on PC for over 3 years. Nothing should take 9 years to develop.

Good game but i've already finished the campaign and unlocked every item a long time ago it needs more maps. I noticed there's a few more maps in the random generator that aren't added to the campaign. I feel like this game would be even better with more equipment, weapons, classes, areas, etc. Can't wait for there to be more stuff. Still no new stuff?

I love the idea of the game. It reminds me of an overhead stylized version of the '98 Sierra game Police Quest: SWAT 2. My biggest gripe has to do with the controls on my cell phone. As many others have commented, there have been times when I spend a good five minutes planning a takedown only to inadvertently press the wrong button losing all progress. Also, trying to select a waypoint for unit when it is near a door or even another unit's waypoint is all but impossible.

This game is so close to being the best game I've played on android. I just want a lock command and undo command on my SWAT team. The further you get on the game the longer the routes you have to create for your team which takes A LOT of time. I've rage quit/uninstalled a few times due to spending 20 - 30 minutes on a plan and when I zoom out a glitch causes one of my trails to reset/reroute. It would be extremely helpful if there was a lock/undo feature.

A very good tactical strategy game, with some amazing depth, and great gameplay. The controls on a phone are a bit tricky at times but the ability to zoom helps mitigate some of the issues. The preparation planning phase of the game is reminiscent of the pre-planning in the early SWAT and Rainbow 6 PC games, which is great, and the execution of perfectly planned assault is probably my personal highlight of the gameplay. Single missions range from short and simple tutorial levels and basic layouts, to long and complicated, multi-level scenarios. It should be noted, the adding of multi-story buildings is the clunkiest of mechanics in the game but was added at fervent community request, even though the game devs warned of the engine's in ability to handle exactly what the community requested. Honestly, this is all overlooked by the awesome campaign mode, custom random mission generator, and stellar squad customization and skills progression. Overall top notch mobile port of a great game, and a full recommendation!

This is a very fun game. There are plenty of levels, and the touch interaction feels immersive. That said... their are major control issues that make the game frustrating and unplayable. Honestly they should be aware of them considering there are keybinding for all of this in the PC version. A simple swipe can delete your whole plan. The look function is annoyingly short. And it is impossible to adjust a plan that has multiple crew overlapping. So frustrating for a game with such potential.

Superb game. Quite challenging as you progress, but I haven't yet found anything to be impossible or overwhelming. They definitely make you think hard though! My only suggestion for the developer is to add an option during planning to "lock" an officer's path, or be able to hide all but the one you're working on. I constantly try to adjust an officer's orientation/path and end up somehow grabbing a different officer's path and resetting it, which is very frustrating. I'm even using a stylus pen.

Phenomenal game!! This game is particularly good if you are in LE or military. You have to be very patient and strategic with your choices. The one complaint I have is that is: sometimes the controls can be a bit clunky. When editing characters routes, I have occasionally hit the wrong button or made an adjustment to a character's route that I didn't intend to, this leads to every aspect of the route before your inadvertent edit to be deleted! This can be especially frustrating later in the game

Transitioning a PC game to mobile isn't always the easiest task. After sinking about 20 hours into the game to this point I'd say it's as good as could be expected. Certain things are lost in the translation as controls need to be streamlined. But the only thing I will genuinely complain about is that sometimes after selecting an action at a door while paused in planning mode, once you press play, the action you chose disappears as if you didn't select anything at all. Other than that, 👍.

Awesome game. Love the freedom of it. You can do the levels absolutely anyway you want. Long as you pass the objective then you move on. Different soldier classes and an upgrade store to mix things up and keep it fresh. Controls can be a bit hard drawing lines close to other soldiers, but nothing game breaking at all. And with the way the levels are, you can play for 5-10 minutes or you can sink a couple hours into it. Worth the money.

Basically a copy paste of the old PC game. Bought because of nostalgia, and it didn't disappoint. Using your finger instead of a mouse to move units around can be a little annoying at times, but otherwise a very good port. For those who aren't familiar with the game. It's a top down, "real time", tactical shooter. I put real time in quotes because you can pause and plan out movements. A good amount of content for the money. And I've bought it twice. Once here and once on steam.

Controls need to be refined for mobile. In general, the concept is great and reminds me of the classic windows Swat game that was top down. But most the game is spent in the planning phase and that is where the most difficulty lies. The drag to move is decent but there's no undo button for if you make a mistake. I spent a few minutes seeing up a route with like 15 different moves, but thinking late and having to edit move 2 and that erased all the rest of my previous planning. Pretty annoying.

I love the game. Very strategic. Worth the money. However it doesn't explain a few things that can make things go differently then how you want. For example I picked a lock thinking I could silently get a few guys (which is an option if you sneak up on them) but it kicked down the door alerting the crooks. T hats really my only complaint tho. At the very least explain them on the website or something.

If you want something that gives you semi realistic tactical strategy paired with rpg elements, then this is for you. 5 years later and I love this game even more. Playing with a stylus is even better! I remember when this was a pc only game still in development. I'm so happy you guys went mobile like we wanted! Keep it up! Now we need a Roman squad Combat version!

twice now my team has been reset, classes reset, keep the doctrine points and stars, not sure if this is a design feature or flaw but its kind of annoying to have to build up the levels over and over, havent gotten high enough to unlock stealth class because of this. good game though. plays well. just wish it would stop resetting.

The game is great I have played through alot of the single missions and am really enjoying the game. I have noticed while playing through the campaign I have had crashes on some of the larger levels. Worth the money but i wish I could save mid mission and come back later to finish it. Crashes have been fixed. I now wish there was a way to confirm your in mission restarts. I find my self working through some of the longer missions and accidently restarting the mission and losing 5-15 minutes.

Alot of fun. Challenging, and engaging. Requires you to think to beat each mission. You can get 3 stars per mission, but I been settling for two as it gets very challenging. The game also comes with a separate campaign mode, so that's 83 single missions (full game), and a campaign. You also can upgrade via skill tree, and choose different classes forgot the name of them.

Absolutely amazing, gory, bad guy killing, and fun time killer. Easy to play, hard to master, even harder to put down. No waiting for lives, or having to ask friends for help in order to continue to higher levels, all you do is play as long as you want. The added free in game download mods is cool too. Highly recommend this game, it's really worth the $4 bucks, and no in game microtransactions either

Not as good as Breach and Clear, but fun. The ONE thing that absolutely drives me UP A WALL is accidentally touching one of the troopers lines that you don't mean to and it selects it and deletes the entire path forward and starts from where you accidentally touched. So you can plan out an entire route (which takes a WHILE), then start planning a route with another trooper and accidentally touch the first troopers line (trying to move the damn screen) and the whole path goes away. It's made me quit playing the game; it's THAT frustrating. There needs to be a way to lock in the path for each trooper, so it isn't manipulable.

Victor Keys

I love the concept, but seems a bit unfinished..Constantly having to remake paths because of accidental deletion, when two lines are over one another, impossible to get both units to do what you want. Should be immediately fixed. I would like to see a way to hide unselected unit paths. A peek around corners button when you direct a unit to a corner. A police dog unit, one with wider view for alerting, one shorter view but can attack. More detail in the scenery. Unit promotional outfits
